Commencing January 15, 2026, Donna M. Genovese, Esq. will be employed as a Court Attorney Referee in the New York State Unified Court, Supreme Court, Bronx County. Prior to such time, Ms. Genovese was a partner of Goldschmidt & Genovese, LLP concentrating her practice to the field of matrimonial and family law for over 35 years.
Ms. Genovese is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (“AAML”); member of the Board of Governors of the New York Chapter of the AAML, former Vice President of New York Chapter of the AAML, former Chair and Co-Chair of the Collaborative Law Committee of the AAML National; listed in The Best Lawyers in America from 2008 to 2026, listed in Top Attorneys in the New York Metro Area as published in the New York Times Super Lawyers Section from 2008 to 2026, former President of the Rockland-Westchester Association of Collaborative Lawyers, certified as an AAML Arbitrator by the AAML National, and trained in the Collaborative Law and Mediation processes; member of the New York and Connecticut State Bars; member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Westchester County Bar Association, Rockland County Women’s Bar Association, Westchester County Women’s Bar Association; lectured for the Westchester County Bar Association and Westchester Women’s Bar Association; co-authored a lecture for the New York State Bar Association, Recent Decisions Editor for the Westchester County Bar Association, Family Law Section Domestic Law Review in the year 2009 and while in private practice was certified by the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, to participate in the Attorney for the Children and Appellate panels.
