Seema Ali Rizzo

Seema is a member of the law firm of Gallo & Iacovangelo, LLP. She concentrates her practice in the areas of matrimonial and family law and was named Chair of the Domestic Relations/Family Law Division of the firm’s Litigation Department in September 2005. She has extensive experience representing clients in both Supreme and Family Courts.

Seema is a member of both the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), including their Family Law Sections. She is a member of and former President of the Collaborative Law Association of the Rochester Area (CLARA). She regularly lectures for various Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for the NYSBA and MCBA. Seema has also been involved in various non-profit community organizations and is a current Board Member of Development of Indo-American Leaders (DIAL).

She was elected fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) in December 2019. Ms. Rizzo was selected for inclusion in the Upstate Edition of Super Lawyers in 2021 and 2022. In May 2021, she was appointed by the Chief Administrative Judge of the New York State Unified Court System to serve as a member of the Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee (MPARC).
